According to reports, Panasonic (Panasonic Electric) or in June of this year stops producing rice cookers in Japan, and its production line will be moved to the Chinese factory.
Panasonic (since 1956, the sale of rice cookers
includes high -end products with electromagnetic induction heating, and small models for single people. Reported that due to the rapid contraction of the Japanese rice cooker market and intensified competition in line, Panasonic believes that business is difficult to be too large. Development prospects, therefore decided to reorganize business to strengthen profitability and decide to stop the production of rice cookers in Japan.
